How do I edit or remove the "FAQ title"?
The FAQ title can be adjusted in the settings tab of the App Settings. You can also remove the title by unchecking its checkbox in the settings tab.
What does Please Assist Me do?
Please Assist Me is a home assistant company that focuses on handling the small things around the house so you can come home to everything done. Services include housecleaning, groceries, laundry, dry cleaning, mail & packages, goodwill, alterations, flower delivery, and shoe care.
Isn't this expensive?
We pride ourselves at Please Assist Me in offering exceptional services at great prices. When you create an account, we are certain that you will be pleasantly surprised at our prices in comparison with the level of service that we provide.
What precautions have you taken to protect against COVID-19?
Your safety is considerably important to us! Each assistant completes a wellness questionnaire and passes a temperature check before they are able to start their shift. Assistants wear masks, shoe coverings, and gloves while inside your unit. The shoe covering and gloves are changed and disposed of after each unit in addidition to all cleaning supplies being disinfected between each unit. We also use disinfectant supplies during all cleans to ensure a clean home. We have also added contactless options for grocery, dry cleaning, and mail & packages in addition to various special requests.
How is my assistant chosen?
Your assistants are W-2 employees dedicated to your building. Every building has 2-3 dedicated assistants so you will never have a stranger in your home. Each assistant passes a detailed background check, undergoes an intense training process, wears a body camera when on-site, and is insured and bonded for $1M per visit.
Can I meet with my assistant?
Do I leave a tip for my assistant?
If an assistant goes above and beyond feel free to leave a tip, however they are in no way expected.
Do I have to live at a partner apartment or condominium to use your services?
Yes, we only offer our services at our partner apartment or condominium buildings. If you would like for Please Assist Me to come to your building, email our team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What buildings do you currently operate in?
We currently operate in the Nashville, TN and Washington D.C. regions. Our current partners include The Hepburn, 880P, City Market at O, The Channel, Incanto, The Lockwood, Alina, 505 Nashville, Element Music Row, and Vertis Green Hills.
What time will my assistant complete my request?
Our assistants complete requests between 9am-5pm. If you would like to schedule a specific time for your request, email email@example.com. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate weekend or night requests at this time.
How early do I need to schedule a request?
All requests must be submitted by midnight the day before your visit. Special requests and move-in coordination requests require 24 hours.
What contactless services do you offer?
We currently offer contactless grocery delivery, dry cleaning pick-up and drop-off, mail and package pick-up, and special requests (including prescription pick up and more). To designate a contactless service, trype in contactless in the preferences section when scheduling the service.
What is included in your all-inclusive bundle?
Our all-inclusive visit includes a weekly home refresh in addition to waived delivery fees for our other services. This includes no fees for grocery delivery, laundry, dry cleaning, mail & packages, goodwill, alterations, and shoe care on the day of your visit. Just pay for the cost of the groceries, dry cleaning, alterations, etc. Your weekly refresh includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming the common area, washing dishes, wiping down counters, dusting the common area, taking out the trash, and a general tidy up. You can add a bathroom add-on ($5) or bedroom add-on ($10) to any visit. These add-on services are a light clean of the area requested. You can also upgrade your home refresh to a full house cleaning any week as well. Costs range from $25-$32 per week depending on your complex. Do I have to sign up for a subscription to make a commitment to use your services?
No subscription is necessary. You can make a one time request for any of our services! If you are interested in our weekly bundle service, you can cancel at any time.
Can you do my laundry in my unit?
We can certainly wash, dry, or fold laundry inside your unit as a special request. Our default laundry option is outsourced laundry service, but in-unit laundry services can be requested for an hourly fee. Be sure to make this request using the special request option instead of laundry.
What is considered a special request?
Special requests are anything not listed as an option on our site. No request is too small! We have decorated for a birthday party, taken an antique watch to be repaired, organized closets, shopping for a birthday gift, returning an item at the store, waiting for the cable guy on a resident's behalf, picking up prescriptions, and more! We love the unique ways that we can service our residents. Special requests are $22 per hour.
Is there anything that you don't do?
We are always expanding our services! Right now, we don't offer pet walking services but we can check in your furry friends and refill food/water. We also don't handle any services that require us to drive your personal vehicle. Lastly, we don't have any electricians, handymen, or other trade services on staff, but can be on-site to oversee any services if you aren't able to be there yourself. Outside of that, we pretty much handle all other in-home requests.
