Stephanie Cummings is an experienced entrepreneur, business leader, and philanthropist. Throughout her career, she has focused on the betterment of others within the Nashville community as well as across the country, and internationally.
She was inspired to start Please Assist Me after finding it hard to balance working full time, attending school at night, and planning a wedding simultaneously. After talking to numerous individuals who were also overwhelmed with tasks and seeing many women leave the workforce due to the stress of family responsibilities, Stephanie was inspired to provide an affordable service that allows working professionals, busy moms, and others who need help, to find balance. Stephanie’s mission is provide the support necessary for anyone succeed in the workforce regardless of gender or financial status.
Previously, Stephanie worked in healthcare IT for Parallon Consulting and Cerner Corporation. She was responsible for program oversight of a new product that realized over $1 million in revenue during its first year on the market. She also was responsible for project management, contracts, implementation, client relationships, and marketing.
Stephanie has also been actively involved in the Nashville community. Last year, she served on the East Nashville Cooperative Ministry’s Board of Directors as Vice President. She also started a non-profit in 2009 called Closets of Love which has donated over 7,500 clothing items to families throughout the state of Tennessee, as well as orphans in Rwanda, Honduras, and Mexico.
Stephanie received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University and graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University.
